The mullet used to be the Bi - level or business in the front and party in the back. Perms have gone from traditional to spiral or piggyback or or boom-er-rang. I have worked in 9 salons in 46 years and have worked with a lot of great people. My longest customer I have done for 46 years and shortest time customer is probably 3 days. I have been lucky to have great customers as well as great girls to work with. My co workers and customers have been my saving grace through the years as well as I have been theirs. Unfortunately, my salary did not compare to the of a counselor but I wouldn't change it.

I have over 30 years experience in Cosmetology and certified for the NIC Missouri State Board of Cosmetology and Barber for over 15 years. I attended Jo Herndon School of Cosmetology and started my profession at JCPenney's and had 15 years of employment there, earning a lifetime 25% associate discount. I got a lot of my training at JCPenney's and earned certificates being the 2nd top stylist in the region. I also owned my own salon Marie's Hair Clinic for 10 years. I specialize in Haircuts, Haircut/Styles, Color, Highlights, Relaxers, Permanent Waves, Blowout Treatments, Press & Curl and Roller Set but most of all our practices safety and infection control procedures.
